5 Trojans Participating in NFL Combine
This week, five Trojans are attending the NFL Draft combine in Indianapolis. Drake London, Drake Jackson, Keaontay Ingram, Chris Steele, and Isaac Taylor-Stuart all received invites. London is projected to go the highest, with most mock drafts having him going somewhere in the first round. He told reporters he’s currently at around 85% and will not participate in drills there. Instead, he will work out at USC’s Pro Day in a few weeks. Daniel Jeremiah’s most recent mock draft had London headed to the New York Giants at No. 7 overall. London also gave a shoutout to former teammate Amon-Ra St.Brown during his media availability:
Mo Hasan Suffers Achilles Injury
Coming off an ACL injury that ended his 2021 season, Mo Hasan announced he suffered a ruptured Achilles injury on Wednesday. Hasan’s injury leaves the Trojans with just two healthy scholarship quarterbacks in Miller Moss and Caleb Williams. Hasan played two seasons at Vanderbilt before transferring to USC during the fall of 2020.
USC Women’s Basketball Loses Pac-12 Tournament Opener vs. UCLA
The Trojans lost in the opening round of the Pac-12 tournament to the UCLA Bruins. The two rivals went into the third quarter tied, but the Bruins outscored the Trojans 27-14 in the closing quarter. Jordan Sanders led the Trojans in scoring with 18 points. The loss dropped USC to 12-16 on the season, and UCLA will move on to take on the No. 2 seed, Oregon.
