Weekend At Riley's House: USC's Official Visit List (June 7th-9th)
Since the Trojans ended spring camp, the focus around USC has been on the transfer portal. And while the transfer visits haven’t been as productive as many had hoped, USC’s coaching staff has been very successful with the high school recruits once they get them on campus.
Lincoln Riley‘s coaching staff is getting ready to roll out the red carpets and host some of the best high prospects from all over the country looking to add to their nationally ranked No. 3 class—only Ohio St. and LSU rank ahead of the Trojans.
As May comes to an end and June arrives the highly anticipated Weekend Recruiting Bashes begin! Below is our June 7 through June 9 USC Weekend Bash No. 1 Visitor List.
Players On Offense
The general rule when it comes to recruiting is that each class needs at least one quarterback commitment. Lincoln Riley knows a thing or three about developing quarterbacks and he already has another one he wants committed to USC’s 2025 class. —Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis highlights the June 7th official visitors list.
Every good QB needs a group of wide receivers to throw the ball to and USC will be hosting some of the best WR prospects from a deep position group, including 5-star Andrew Marsh pictured below who has taken multiple unofficial visits to USC over the last 12 months and a top target in this recruiting cycle.
2025 WR Daylan McCutcheon–Lucas (Texas)/Lovejoy
Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy four-star wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon named his top eight schools back in February, and USC was on the list. McCutcheon is fresh off his visit to SMU and has trips to Ohio State (May 31-June 2), USC (June 7-9), Texas (June 14-16), and Florida State (June 21-23). As a junior at Lovejoy, McCutcheon caught 94 passes for 1,430 yards and 20 touchdowns.
2025 WR Corey Simms–St. Louis(MO)/Christian Brothers College
Four-star wide receiver Corey Simms has more than 30 offers. However, four programs are currently in the lead for his commitment.–Nebraska, Missouri, Ole Miss, and USC. Back in April Simms told On3, “I’d put all four of them at the top right now,”.
Unofficially, Simms has tripped to Missouri and USC.
2025 ATH Darrell Johnson–Eastman(GA)/Dodge County
Johnson is committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide on March 20th but he’s still taking official visits. USC is one of the schools the multi-talented player is still considering along with Florida St., Auburn, and Florida.
2025 OT Nick Brooks–Cedar Rapids,(IA)/John F Kennedy
Who couldn’t use a 6-foot 7″, 340 lbs offensive tackle? Since Josh Henson and Lincoln Riley have taken over USC’s offensive line recruiting, they’ve made the effort to increase the room’s size physically, and in numbers. They hope to land Brooks’s commitment in the 2025 class.
Defensive Side Of The Ball
2025 LB Riley Pettijohn–McKinney(TX)/McKinney
McKinney (TX) Four-Star Linebacker Riley Pettijohn announced his top six schools on Feb. 14. Right now, He’s focusing heavily on Florida State, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC. Like his McKinney teammate and current USC running back Bryan Jackson, Pettijohn has already visited USC multiple times. Pettijohn told WeAreSC.com’s Scott Schrader. in March why USC is high on his list.
2025 LB Noah Mikhail–La Verne(CA)/Bonita
On Thursday, the elite Southern California product set a decision date for June 30, according to Chad Simmons of On3. The three schools at the top of Mikhail’s list each will receive an official visit first. He’ll visit Oregon June 14-16, USC June 7-9, and Texas A&M June 21-23.
2025 EDGE Justin Hill–Cincinnati(OH)/Winston Woods
In March Trojans’ defensive line coach, Eric Henderson began to make his impact felt when USC received three defensive line commitments following an unofficial visit weekend that featured a crawfish boil. Hill was among those in attendance and will be back for his official visit.
2025 S Lagonza Hayward–Lyons(GA)/Toombs County
Four-star safety Lagonza Hayward announced earlier this month that Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and USC are his top schools. He told On3 earlier this month that Tennessee is still in the lead for his commitment, however, he also added, “I have to love the school. Coaches come and go, so I want to be at a school I love and play for an overall program that can develop me and help me reach my full potential.”
2025 DL Myron Charles–Port Charles(FL)/Port Charles
Florida St. is in a strong position for the talented 6-foot 4″, 300lb lineman’s commitment. However, that’s not going to stop Trojan defensive line coaches Shaun Nua and Eric Henderson from trying to change the young man’s mind. Charles’ official visit schedule currently features trips to Florida (May 31), USC (June 7), Miami (June 14) and FSU (June 21). The official visits could alter the race although it feels like everyone is chasing Norvell and Co. heading into the summer.

2025 LB Elijah Melendez–Kissimmee(FL)/Osceola
Melendez took a visit to USC last November when he made the trip with his Trillion Boys 7v7 teammates, including top Trojans target Andrew Marsh and future USC QB Jack Stupin. In March when Melendez spoke with WeAreSC he mentioned what stood out and why he’s coming back for an official visit. “It was just so fun in LA and being in California. It just felt good just being here and seeing the atmosphere. I really loved it. I really loved the weather here, the fan base too. So I really enjoyed being at USC and the nighttime vibe when we were driving around at nighttime in the golf cart. That was just amazing.”
2025 LB Max Granville–Sugarland(TX)/Fort Bend Christian Brothers Academy
USC linebackers coach Matt Entz won’t be looking for someone to talk with when the staff hosts the recruits. Granville is considered one of the top prospects in any position. Kansas was first to offer back in May of 2022 and heading into summer before his senior year. Granville now has close to 40 opportunities to consider, but he’s narrowed the focus to five.–Baylor, Penn State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and USC
2025 DL Malik Autry–Opelika(AL)/Opelika
Autry is committed (Auburn) but Justus Terry was also committed when he took an unofficial visit to USC back on March. 24. Hours after that visit, Terry, de-committed from Georgia and pledged his commitment to the Trojans. USC’s coaching staff led by Eric Henderson will try and take another one away.
2025 S Bryce Fitzgerald–Miami(FL)/Christopher Columbus HS
The 6-foot 1″ defensive back from Miami, FL is considered a heavy Miami Hurricanes lean. However, recruiting is always fluid which means nothing is over until it’s over.
2025 DL Kevin Oatis–Hattiesburg(MS)/Hattiesburg
Oatis is one of the most sought-after defensive linemen in the Southeast region. The 2025 prospect and On3 composite four-star prospect took in numerous unofficial visits to various Power 5 programs this spring and now turning his attention to summer official visits.–Mississippi State, Arkansas, and USC are already scheduled.
2025 LB Christian Gass–Covington(GA)/Eastside
Shaun Nua took over the 6-foot 4″ linebacker’s recruitment when Roy Manning was let go of his duties. “I talk to many guys like coach BAW (Bryson Allen-Williams) and coach (Shaun) Nua and have just been starting to get in contact with the new linebacker coach (Matt Entz) and the new DC.”
This will be his first trip to Los Angeles ever. Gass isn’t just taking a trip. He told On3, “One reason is academically they’re just very high on the board and just having that degree from USC could mean a lot,” he said “It just sets you up for the life after football. Next, I would say, the relationship is starting to build stronger and stronger just being comfortable with every coach just is something big. –Also, just getting out there and having one on one time and learning more and more about the program and what they have to offer on and off the field.”
2025 DB LaRue Zamorona–Los Angeles(CA)/Centennial
The tall, long, and rangy cornerback out of local powerhouse Centennial wasn’t considering the Trojans earlier in the year.–A little less than three months ago, 2025 Corona (CA) Centennial CB LaRue Zamorano had four schools standing out, and USC wasn’t among them. However, things change rapidly when it comes to recruiting. Zamorona checks off the boxes that D’Anton Lynn and Doug Belk are looking for in their cornerbacks and should be considered the front-runner for his commitment at this point.
2025 DL Xavier Ukponu–Denton(TX)/Guyer
Back in March, Ukponu and his family took a west coast trip with a few unofficial stop-offs at USC, Cal, and Oregon. The addition of Eric Henderson to Lincoln Riley’s staff has significantly enhanced Ukponu’s interest. Ukponu shared why USC was a priority to visit this offseason. “Just the D-Line communication with the D-Line coaches is truly great down there,” said Ukponu. Ukponu has told WeAreSC he may take his USC official at another date.
