The USC Trojans had three players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, which continued two long streaks. USC has now had at least one player selected in every NFL Draft since 1939, continuing a tie with Michigan for the longest run. And with cornerback Jaylin Smith going to the Houston Texans in the third round, the Trojans extended the longest active streak with at least one player selected in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft.

In addition to Smith, Houston then took former USC running back Woody Marks in the fourth round. Center Jonah Monheim became the third and final former Trojan selected when he went to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round.

Several more former Trojans have signed with NFL teams as undrafted free agents and will begin their professional careers looking to make the 53-man rosters.

Cornerback Greedy Vance – Las Vegas Raiders

Vance became an immediate starter at nickel for the Trojans in his one year after coming over via the transfer portal from Florida State. He finished the 2024 season with 29 tackles, two pass deflections and an interception while playing in 11 games.

Cornerback John Humphrey – Las Vegas Raiders

Humphrey was a solid addition to the cornerback room in his one year after transferring in from UCLA. He finished the season with 23 tackles, three pass deflections and an interception.

Cornerback Jacobe Covington – Kansas City Chiefs

Covington spent several seasons at USC after coming in from Washington. He dealt with some injuries but was a solid presence whenever he was on the field. He finished the 2024 season with 30 tackles and a forced fumble.

Punter Eddie Czaplicki – Kansas City Chiefs

Czaplicki won the Ray Guy Award as the nation’s best punt in his second season at USC. He was selected to the All-Big Ten First Team, the AP All-Big Ten First Team and was named the Big Ten Eddleman-Fields Punter of the Year.

Defensive end Jamil Muhammad – Los Angeles Rams

Muhammad spent two seasons at USC after coming over as a transfer from Georgia State. He finished the 2024 season with 27 tackles, including one sack.
