Where USC commits are playing this week (10/19-20)
USC will have a big matchup on Saturday in the Coliseum taking on the Utah Utes. On Thursday and Friday though, many of USC’s commits will be in action throughout the country.
Let’s take a look at where USC’s commits are playing this week and some matchups to look for when applicable.
- Four-star WR Xavier Jordan & Four-star Safety Marquis Gallegos– Sierra Canyon (8-0) v. Serra
Sierra Canyon has had an excellent season, in large part due to the performance of the duo of Trojan commits. Xavier Jordan has played in seven of their eight games and has reeled in 20 receptions for 435 yards and seven touchdowns. Marquis Gallegos has 32 tackles and an interception. He has also forced a recovered and fumble.
- Four-star WR Ryan Pellum – Long Beach Milikan (6-3) v. BYE
Pellum has played in eight games, catching 47 passes for 676 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He also has 103 rushing yards and another score.
- Four-star CB Marcelles Williams – St. John Bosco (7-1) v. JSerra Catholic
Williams has been a force for the Bosco defense, logging 40 tackles, two pass deflections and two interceptions.
- Three-star RB Bryan Jackson – McKinney (6-1) v. Rock Hill
Jackson has only played two full games this season due to injury, but has four touchdowns on the season.
- Four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain – Atlanta Washington (1-6) v. KIPP Atlanta Collegiate
Fountain has notched 32 tackles, two sacks, one pass deflection and one fumble recovery.
- Four-star IOL Jason Zandamela – Clearwater International Academy (3-4) v. Lakeland
- Four-star TE Walter Matthews – Hiram (6-1) v. Cass
Matthews has only played in six games with 17 receptions for 173 yards.
- Four-star LB Elijah Newby – Cheshire Academy v. Williston Northampton
- Four-TE Joey Olsen – Lake Oswego (5-1) v. Tigard
- Four-star OL Makai Saina – Arlington Martin (4-3) v. Grand Prairie
- Three-star Safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr. – Clearwater (4-3) v. Eastlake
Through six games, Boatwright Jr. has 48 total tackles, four pass deflections and two tackles for loss.
- Three-star Safety Braylon Conley – Humble Atascocita (7-0) v. King
Conley has two interceptions returned for touchdowns this season.
- Three-star DL Deyvid Palepale
- Three-star OL Hayden Treter – Cherry Creek (8-0) v. Arapahoe

- Five-star QB Julian ‘JuJu’ Lewis – Carrollton (7-1) v. Westlake
Lewis is now up to 1,920 passing yards and 29 touchdowns on the season to only one interception. He is completing 67% of his passes.
- WR Ja’Myron Baker – Los Alamitos (6-2) v. Huntington Beach
The most recent commitment for USC, Baker, announced he was pledging to the Trojans during the game against Nevada. There are no stats available for what he has done this season.
