Where USC commits are playing this week (10/26-27)
USC has a matchup on Saturday against the California Bears. On Thursday and Friday though, many of USC’s commits will be in action throughout the country.
Let’s take a look at where USC’s commits are playing this week and some matchups to look for when applicable.
- Four-star WR Xavier Jordan & Four-star Safety Marquis Gallegos– Sierra Canyon (9-0) v. Chaminade
Sierra Canyon are in the midst of an excellent season, in large part due to the performance of the duo of Trojan commits. Xavier Jordan has played in eight of their nine games and has reeled in 23 receptions for 482 yards and seven touchdowns. Marquis Gallegos has 38 tackles and an interception. He has also forced a recovered and fumble.
- Four-star WR Ryan Pellum – Long Beach Milikan (6-3) v. Cabrillo
Pellum has played in eight games, catching 47 passes for 676 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He also has 103 rushing yards and another score.
- Four-star CB Marcelles Williams – St. John Bosco (8-1) v. Orange Lutheran
Williams has been a force for the Bosco defense, logging 40 tackles, two pass deflections and two interceptions.
- Three-star RB Bryan Jackson – McKinney (6-1) v. Denton Guyer
Jackson’s time on the field has been limited due to injury, but he seems to have found a groove with his most recent performance of 129 yards and two touchdowns. He has a three touchdown performance this season as well.
- Four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain – Atlanta Washington (2-6) v. South Atlanta
Fountain has notched 32 tackles, two sacks, one pass deflection and one fumble recovery.
- Four-star IOL Jason Zandamela – Clearwater International Academy (4-4) v. University Christian
- Four-star TE Walter Matthews – Hiram (7-2) v. Woodland
Matthews has 21 receptions for 243 yards on the season.
- Four-star LB Elijah Newby – Cheshire Academy (5-0) v. Salisbury School
- Four-TE Joey Olsen – Lake Ridge (6-2) v. Lake Oswego
Olsen had a very strong season with at least 28 receptions and 550+ yards along with 10 touchdowns.
- Four-star OL Makai Saina – Arlington Martin (5-3) v. Arlington
- Three-star Safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr. – Clearwater (4-3) v. Berkeley Prep
Through eight games, Boatwright Jr. has 57 total tackles, five pass deflections and two tackles for loss.
- Three-star Safety Braylon Conley – Humble Atascocita (8-0) v. North Shore
Conley has three interceptions on the season, two of which were returned for touchdowns.
- Three-star DL Deyvid Palepale
- Three-star OL Hayden Treter – Cherry Creek (9-0) v. Grandview

- Five-star QB Julian ‘JuJu’ Lewis – Carrollton (8-1) v. Campbell
Lewis is now up to 2,034 passing yards and 31 touchdowns on the season to only one interception. He is completing 65% of his passes.
- WR Ja’Myron Baker – Los Alamitos (7-2) v. Edison
The most recent commitment for USC, Baker, announced he was pledging to the Trojans during the game against Nevada. There are no stats available for what he has done this season.
