Where USC commits are playing this week (10/4-5)
USC will be hosting the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday evening. On Thursday and Friday though, many of USC’s commits will be in action throughout the country.
Let’s take a look at where USC’s commits are playing this week and some matchups to look for when applicable.
- Four-star WR Xavier Jordan & Four-star Safety Marquis Gallegos– Sierra Canyon (6-0) v. Bishop Amat
Sierra Canyon has had an excellent season, in large part due to the performance of the duo of Trojan commits. Xavier Jordan has played in five of their six games and has reeled in 17 receptions for 401 yards and six touchdowns. Marquis Gallegos has 24 tackles and an interception. He has also forced a fumble.
- Four-star WR Ryan Pellum – Long Beach Milikan (4-3) v. Lakewood
Pellum, who has played in four games, has caught 29 passes for 333 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He also has 96 rushing yards.
- Four-star CB Marcelles Williams – St. John Bosco (5-1) v. Servite
Williams has been a force for the Bosco defense, logging 28 tackles, two pass deflections and two interceptions.

- Four-star IOL Jason Zandamela – Clearwater International Academy (1-3) v. Gray Collegiate Academy
- Four-star TE Walter Matthews – Hiram (6-0) v. Pike County
Matthews has only played in four games, but has 11 receptions for 121 yards.
- Four-star LB Elijah Newby – Cheshire Academy v. Deerfield Academy
- Four-TE Joey Olsen – Lake Oswego (4-1) v. Oregon City
- Four-star OL Makai Saina – Arlington Martin (3-3) v. BYE
- Three-star Safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr. – Clearwater (3-2) v. Pinellas Park
Through five games, Boatwright Jr. has 24 total tackles, four pass deflections and two tackles for loss.
- Three-star Safety Braylon Conley – Humble Atascocita (5-0) v. Beaumont United
- Three-star DL Deyvid Palepale – Hempfield
After initially fearing a season ending injury, Palepale is now back in action for Hempfield.
- Three-star OL Hayden Treter – Cherry Creek (6-0) v. Smoky Hill

- WR Ja’Myron Baker – Los Alamitos (4-2) v. Newport Harbor
The most recent commitment for USC, Baker, announced he was pledging to the Trojans during the game against Nevada. There are no stats available for what he has done this season.
