Where USC commits are playing this week (11/9-10)
USC will face-off against the Oregon Ducks on Saturday with a chance for the Trojans to play spoiler as well put themselves back on a path to make it to Las Vegas. On Thursday and Friday though, many of USC’s commits will be in action throughout the country, some now participating in playoffs.
Let’s take a look at where USC’s commits are playing this week and some matchups to look for when applicable.
- Four-star WR Xavier Jordan & Four-star Safety Marquis Gallegos– Sierra Canyon (10-0) v. Santa Margarita
Sierra Canyon have made it to the postseason without suffering a loss, in large part due to the performance these Trojan commits. Xavier Jordan has played in nine of their 10 games and has reeled in 25 receptions for 506 yards and eight touchdowns. Marquis Gallegos has 43 tackles and and two interceptions. He has also forced a recovered and fumble.
- Four-star WR Ryan Pellum – Long Beach Milikan
Pellum’s season has come to an end, catching 55 passes for 821 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
- Four-star CB Marcelles Williams – St. John Bosco (9-1) v. San Clemente
Williams has been a force for the Bosco defense, logging 50 tackles, four pass deflections and two interceptions.
- Three-star RB Bryan Jackson – McKinney (8-2) v. Marcus
Jackson’s time on the field has been limited due to injury this season but he has been a monster when healthy. He has 507 yards rushing and eight touchdowns on 99 carries.

- Four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain – Atlanta Washington (3-7) v. Rockmart
Fountain has notched 32 tackles, two sacks, one pass deflection and one fumble recovery.
- Four-star IOL Jason Zandamela – Clearwater International Academy
Zandamela’s season has come to an end.
- Four-star TE Walter Matthews – Hiram (8-2) v. Cambridge
Matthews has 22 receptions for 249 yards on the season.
- Four-star LB Elijah Newby – Cheshire Academy (6-1) v. Suffield Academy
- Four-TE Joey Olsen – Lake Ridge (8-2) v. Central Catholic
Olsen has had a very strong season with 32 receptions and 622 yards along with 11 touchdowns.
- Four-star OL Makai Saina – Arlington Martin (7-3) v. Berkner
- Three-star Safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr. – Clearwater (6-4) v. Blake
Boatwright Jr. has 77 total tackles, six pass deflections and two tackles for loss.
- Three-star Safety Braylon Conley – Humble Atascocita (8-2) v. Dobie
Conley has three interceptions on the season, two of which were returned for touchdowns.
- Three-star DL Deyvid Palepale
- Three-star OL Hayden Treter – Cherry Creek (10-0) v. Legacy

- Five-star QB Julian ‘JuJu’ Lewis – Carrollton (9-1) v. Harrison
Lewis is now up to 2,190 passing yards and 34 touchdowns on the season to only one interception. He is completing 66% of his passes.
- WR Ja’Myron Baker – Los Alamitos (9-2) v. Serra
Baker, announced he was pledging to the Trojans during the game against Nevada. There are no stats available for what he has done this season.
- Four-star CB Brandon Lockhart – Loyola (6-5) v. Yorba Linda
The elite cornerback has 42 tackles, five pass deflections, and one interception.
- ATH Madden Riordan – Sierra Canyon (10-0) v. Santa Margarita
Riordan has been dominant this season with 25 tackles as well as team leading three interceptions and nine pass deflections.
