Where USC commits are playing this week (9/14-15)
USC will not be in action this week with an early season bye week with playing a week zero game. On Thursday and Friday though, USC’s commits will be in action throughout the country.
Let’s take a look at where USC’s commits are playing this week and some matchups to look for when applicable.
- Sierra Canyon (3-0) v. Orange Lutheran – Four-star WR Xavier Jordan & Four-star Safety Marquis Gallegos
3-0 Sierra Canyon will have a good test this weekend as they face a 3-1 Orange Lutheran squad. Xavier Jordan has only played in two games so far but has six receptions for 167 yards and three touchdowns. Marquis Gallegos has seven tackles and a quarterback hurry.
- Long Beach Milikan (2-2) v. Woodrow Wilson – Four-star WR Ryan Pellum
- St. John Bosco (3-0) v. Kahuku – Four-star CB Marcelles Williams
Williams has been a force for the Bosco defense, logging 19 tackles, two pass deflections, and one interception. He will face a 4-1 Kahuku squad.
- McKinney (3-0) v. Flower Mound – Three-star RB Bryan Jackson
Bryan Jackson sustained a dislocated elbow in his season opener against Longview but the injury is not one that will keep him out too long. He has missed two games but expect him back soon.
- Atlanta Washington (0-4) v. Business Engineering Science Tech – Four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain
- Clearwater International Academy (0-3) v. Bye Week – Four-star IOL Jason Zandamela
- Hiram (4-0) v. Drew – Four-star TE Walter Matthews
I’m hoping to see the Hiram offense get Matthews some more targets. He has done well with his limited opportunities. So far, he has nine receptions for 114 yards.
- Cheshire Academy v. Brunswick – Four-star LB Elijah Newby
- Lake Oswego (2-0) v. Westview – Four-TE Joey Olsen
- Arlington Martin (0-3) v. Temple – Four-star OL Makai Saina
- Clearwater (1-0) v. Clearwater Central Catholic – Three-star Safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr.
Through two games, Boatwright Jr. has 13 total tackles and one pass deflection.
- Humble Atascocita (3-0) v. Bye Week – Three-star Safety Braylon Conley
- Hempfield – Three-star DL Deyvid Palepale
Palepale unfortunately suffered a potentially season ending injury early in the year.
- Cherry Creek (3-0) v. Arvada West – Three-star OL Hayden Treter

- Carrollton (3-1) v. Jenkins – Five-star QB Julian ‘JuJu’ Lewis
Last Friday night, Lewis looked his usual self, completing 15 of his 22 attempts for 261 yards and three touchdowns. He had a 147.9 quarterback rating, a season high.
Lewis is now up to 853 passing yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. He has zero interceptions and is completing 67% of his passes.
- Los Alamitos (3-0) v. Mission Viejo – WR Ja’Myron Baker
The newest commitment for USC, Baker, announced he was pledging to the Trojans last Saturday during the game against Nevada. There are no stats available for what he has done this season.
