Where USC ranks in updated 2024 class recruiting rankings
USC has 17 commitments in the 2024 class. For the past month, the Trojans have sat in the top-10 hovering between the No. 4-6 ranking.
After some updates in the rankings, USC has dropped to No. 8 in the 2024 Team Recruiting Rankings. The current class is sitting at a class score of 91.225.
However, USC is sitting at No. 5 in the country in average prospect rating. The Trojans have an average commit rating of 90.63.
Over the past few days, USC was jumped in the rankings by Clemson and Penn State. There remains a very small gap, only a .161 difference between USC at No. 8 and Clemson at No. 6.

St. John Bosco four-star cornerback Marcelles Williams, Hiram (Ga.) four-star tight end Walter Matthews, Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra four-star cornerback Dakoda Fields, Los Angeles (Cal.) Sierra Canyon four-star Xavier Jordan, Atlanta (Ga.) Washington four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain, Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge four-star tight end Joey Olsen, Modesto (Calif.) Also, as of right now, there are only two active targets in the class of 2024 who are currently favored in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine to land with USC.
The Trojans hosted more than 30 official visitors in the month of June, primarily scheduled for two major visit weekends. There was major success in the month as the class added 13 commitments.
USC finished the 2023 class ranked inside the top-10 and Lincoln Riley and staff have started off on the right foot with an opportunity to repeat that feat in the 2024 class. There is a chance they even finish top-5.
2024 BIG 10 Conference Rankings
USC comes in at No. 4 in the B1G rankings. They remain behind Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State.
With a score of 91.225, the Trojans are trailing Penn State, which has a score of 91.280.
USC is second in the Big 10 in average prospect rating, behind only the Buckeyes.
