The USC Trojans finished the 2025 recruiting class with just six signees in the final 2025 On300 rankings, which were released on Thursday.
The top of the class is filled by five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet, who rose slightly from No. 13 to No. 12 in the final rankings. He’s the nation’s No. 3 quarterback, a position he held going into this last update. Longstreet is the No. 1 player in California. This is the first time in three recruiting cycles the Trojans have landed the top in-state player. Longstreet is a five-star prospect by both On3 and 247 and a four-star by ESPN and Rivals. On3 ranks him 20 spots higher than any of the other three services.
The No. 2 player in the class is still Jahkeem Stewart, though the 6-foot-5.5, 270-pound defensive linemen slid a bit in the rankings. He moved from No. 25 down to No. 47 in the final edition. He’s clearly a difficult prospect to fully evaluate considering he didn’t play this past season and has played just 12 games of varsity football. USC coaches are very much sold on him, obviously, and a top-50 ranking under those circumstances is still impressive.
There was no shuffle at the third spot in the class either as linebacker Matai Tagoa’i holds it with another slight drop from No. 97 down to No. 109.
Cornerback Trestin Castro and offensive lineman Aaron Dunn moved just one spot in the updated rankings, while running back Harry Dalton rounds out USC’s six On300 prospects after dropping from No. 230 to No. 277.
The Trojans saw wide receiver Romero Ison, safety Dee Reddick and offensive tackle Alex Payne drop out of the On300 rankings. USC wasn’t the only program to see that result as Georgia had four signees fall out of the rankings.
USC still has a chance to add another On300 prospect as linebacker AJ Tuitele made a huge jump in these final rankings, moving from an unranked prospect to the nation’s No. 146 overall recruit. He made the fifth-highest jump in the rankings among new entries into this final edition. He was originally headed to Washington State before a coaching change. USC jumped into the mix with an offer and hosting him on a visit, while Texas has entered the mix as well.
USC decommits in the rankings
USC had a number of decommitments in this class and those players wound up scattered among the On300.

Edge defender Hayden Lowe flew up this final edition, moving from No. 284 overall to No. 27 and earning a fifth star. Lowe committed to USC before flipping to Miami.
Wide receiver Jerome Myles flipped to Texas A&M and finished as the top-ranked four-star in the class and No. 33 overall.
Defensive end Isaiah Gibson is No. 8 overall. Defensive tackle Justus Terry is No. 40. Both made huge splashes with spring commitments to USC before flipping to Georgia and Texas, respectively.
Safety Anquon Fegans finished at No. 91 overall and is headed to Auburn. Fellow safety Hylton Stubbs is No. 91 and headed to Florida. The Gators also nabbed linebacker Ty Jackson, who sits at No. 107.
Quarterback Julian Lewis and offensive tackle Carde Smith both left the USC class and wound up in Colorado’s 2025 group. They sit at No. 113 and No. 119 overall.
