USC has been quiet on the recruiting front recently, steadily falling back in the On3 Industry National Team Recruiting Rankings over the past couple of months. With 15 pledges this cycle, featuring 10 four star prospects and 5 three stars, the Trojans are now No. 17 overall.

Team rankings are determined based on each program’s 16 highest-rated commits. With this, all 15 of USC’s commits are reflected in the rankings while some programs with more than 16 do not have their lowest ranked pledges affecting their score.

The Trojans have a total total score of 90.475.

USC is also No. 5 in the Big Ten and trails Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, and Michigan. 17 of the 18 schools in the B1G rankings have at least 12 commits.

As of September 22, the 15 2024 USC verbal commits include On300 TE Walter Matthews, On300 WR Ryan Pellum, On300 OLB Elijah Newby, On300 WR Xavier Jordan, On300 EDGE Kameryn Fountain, On300 TE Joey Olsen, Safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr., OL Makai Saina, On300 Safety Marquis Gallegos, RB Bryan Jackson, OT Hayden Treter, On300 CB Marcelles Williams, CB Braylon Conley, DL Deyvid Palepale and On300 OL Jason Zandamela.

USC still has a few priority targets left on the board including Quince Orchard (MD) EDGE Jaylen Harvey, Armijo (CA) DL Jericho Johnson, Herriman (UT) LB Ephraim Asiata, Vancouver (WA) OT Fox Crader, and Huntington Beach (CA) Stanford OL commit Justin Tauanuu. They have also recent offered 2024 Texas A&M commit, defensive lineman Gabriel Reliford.

The average On3 NIL Valuation, the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes, for USC’s 2024 class is $74K. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure. While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.
