Yesterday, USC had one of their biggest recruiting wins of the 2024 cycle as they landed four-star Bay City (Tex.) defensive lineman Carlon Jones.

Jones is currently ranked as the No. 351 overall prospect and No. 34 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 55 player in Texas.

On3 is much higher on Jones than others in the industry, tabbing him as the No. 194 overall prospect and No. 17 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle.

Jones became the 21st commitment in the class. The class now has 11 four-star prospects and 10 three-stars.

With 21 commitments in the fold, USC still holds the No. 18 class in the 2024 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. However, the class score rose to 90.70.
