WR Xavier Jordan now top ranked USC commit after rankings bump
Monday morning, the On300 rankings saw quite a large update, with some shuffling of the rankings with risers, fallers, and new additions. USC’s class did not see too many drastic changes, the class staying put at No. 6 in the 2024 cycle. However, Los Angeles (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star wide receiver Xavier Jordan did take over as the top ranked commitment in the Trojans class.
Jordan was already a top-4 ranked commit in the Trojans class but his rise makes him the new No. 1 in USC’s class.
In the On300 rankings, Jordan has risen to the No. 54 overall prospect, a rise of 18 spots.
His On3 Industry Ranking is now the No. 79 overall prospect making him the top ranked commit.
The spot was formerly held by Marcelles Williams, who saw a slight drop to No. 90 overall.
Jordan not the only riser in USC’s class
As I said before, there were no drastic changes in the Trojans class, but there were some other slight moves.
Four-star Long Beach (Cal.) Millikan wide receiver Ryan Pellum saw his On3 Industry Ranking rise eight spots from No. 92 to now being No. 84 overall. Pellum is the second highest ranked commit in the class. This puts USC’s top two pledges at wide receiver.
Tracking some of the rankings changes can be tough, but from my math, the highest riser in the class for USC was Atlanta (Ga.) Washington four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain.

USC finished the 2023 class ranked inside the top-10 and Lincoln Riley and staff have started off on the right foot with an opportunity to repeat that feat in the 2024 class. They are even on pace to finish with a top-5 class.
