How in the world do you miss this call? It's as obvious as it gets. Even watching it live, it was a no-doubter.
That's a fantastic call by the umpires. Obvious homer called foul against Clemson? Perfect call.
It is comforting to know that SEC officials don't only suck in football games. We need to be able to count on some things in life being constant. SEC officials being universally bad in all sports is a rock we can count on in turbulent times.Subjectively, yes, of course, it was a great call against Clemson.
Objectively, they must be blind.
They got screwed either way. Perhaps they still lose the game, but that was an inexplicably bad call.I guess if that hit would have ended the game then and there, yes they got screwed. Otherwise, who knows what might have happened going forward. That is the problem with picking a single play in the middle of a game as the call that cost a team a game. Unless it was the last play of the game that play would not necessarily determine the outcome of the game. The assumption is that everything else in the game would have happened exactly as it did and that one play in the middle of the game would have decided the final outcome.

The heck they wouldn’t. They are fans just like all of us. They talk about us just like we talk about them.I wouldn’t worry about it.
Clemson fans would never start a thread on TigerNet about us getting a bad call. Why do Gamecock fans worry about Clemson getting one? Rejoice in it. Screw them.

This don't make up for that - not even close. They are still paying for the ''push off''.
Agree. Still collecting! This don't make up for that - not even close.

It's Clemson . . . we don't care.

As far as Clemson fans and 18isTheman, in regards to this call
Congratulations on totally missing my point. The OP almost seems sympathetic to the Clemson team and fans. Screw Clemson. The heck they wouldn’t. They are fans just like all of us. They talk about us just like we talk about them.

I’d suggest you stroll over to TigerNet where you can gain more sympathy.Simply looking at it objectively. Am I glad Clemson was screwed? Yes. Was it a horrendous call? Yes.
That still grinds my gears, all these years later! We were robbed. They are still paying for the ''push off''.
It's impossible to look at Clemson objectively. They suck, always have, always will. If a horrendous call screws Clemson over, that's a good thing and we should celebrate the moment.Simply looking at it objectively. Am I glad Clemson was screwed? Yes. Was it a horrendous call? Yes.
