Long and dense edge defender who covers every blade of grass with his “hair on fire” mentality. Consistently chases in backside pursuit of ball carriers. Totaled 101 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 4 forced fumbles and 14 sacks during his junior campaign. Thicker build that could grow into a 3-technique or 4i-technique at the next level. Stands in at 6-foot-3.5, 245 pounds with a 6-foot-8 wingspan and a 10-inch hand. Athletic and rangy edge defender. Ran an electronically-timed 4.98 40-yard dash during the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season. Solid hand usage and ability to disengage at the point of attack. Slight hip stiffness. Can get stuck in the mud when changing direction at times. High floor prospect that can stuff the run and is a relentless pass rusher.
