Class of 2025 four-star safety Anquon Fegans dropped a top group on Tuesday.

A former USC commit, Fegans has named a top group of USC, Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Clemson, Michigan, LSU, Tennessee, Florida State, Auburn, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Fegans is the No. 34 overall prospect and No. 3 safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Alabama.

As a freshman, Fegans recorded 50 tackles and two interceptions, helping Thomson to the Class 7A state title and earning MaxPreps Freshman All-American honors for his performance.

He followed it up in 2022 with 67 tackles, 11 pass breakups, nine interceptions and three defensive touchdowns.

This season, Fegans has made 53 tackles, four tackles for loss, defended seven passes and grabbed seven interceptions. Anquon’s older brother, TreQuon, signed with the Crimson Tide in 2022 but has since transferred to USC.

Fegans originally committed to the Trojans in May, which made him the lone commit in the Trojans 2025 class. Nearly four months later he would re-open his recruitment. But as can be seen now, the Trojans were still involved in his recruitment.

On3 Eval on Fegans

“Good looking build for a 2025 DB, has great length with a frame that should continue to add mass with ease,” On3 Scouting and Rankings Assistant Cody Bellaire said. “Explosive player on tape that has positional versatility. Lines up in the slot, in the boundary, as a deep half safety and as a pure center fielder. Comes downhill aggressively and is a consistent tackler. Has some power on contact and real pop in his pads. Very comfortable when the ball is in front of him as a zone defender. Triggers quickly and has immense field vision and awareness.

“Not sure if he has ideal top-end speed at this point to be a corner at the next level so I think safety is most likely his home, but he has the ability to hang with backs and tight ends in man coverage if asked to do so. Safety projection who will be a consistent issue for offenses around the box as a run defender and as a robber in the passing game.”

On3 NIL Valuation for Fegans

Fegans currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $102K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
