Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy four-star linebacker Edwin Spillman has locked in four official visits. Spillman will kick things off at Florida State on June 2 and will follow that up with trips to Ohio State (June 9), Tennessee (June 16) and Georgia (June 23).

Spillman is the No. 252 overall prospect and No. 27 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Tennessee.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Tennessee is the overwhelming favorite to land the 6-foot-1, 220-pounder. The Vols sit with an 85.7% chance to land Spillman’s pledge.

Spillman announced a top six of Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and UAB in early April.

“I wanted to choose schools where I had built a great relationships,” Spillman told On3. “I want to go to a school where I could see myself playing and not only becoming a better player, but a better man.”

While he doesn’t have a commitment date sat, Spillman noted that he does plan on committing sometime during the summer.

Spillman’s visited each of those he’s set to take officials to already. He’s visited Tennessee the more than any other school but has also visited Ohio State numerous times.

In March he visited Georgia for the first time and he also took his first trip to Florida State in January.

“My recruitment has gone really well because I’ve taken my time visited the right schools to see where I’d fit in the best and what schools fit me the best,” Spillman said. “It’s been awesome getting to see some of these schools and how the program is ran. It’s all been really eye-opening.”

Spillman currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $61K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
