August is here, which means there are ZERO more months until college football kicks off, with the first games scheduled just before the start of September. As the clock counts down to the season-opener, ESPN fed fans’ excitement with a hype video for the season on Monday morning.

Soundtracked by a recently released song by Grammy nominee and world famous musical artist Post Malone, here is a college football hype video and highlight montage that’s sure to get your blood pumping:

ESPN even featured a few storylines they believe will be prominent in the 2023 season, including…

“Clemson has some confidence and swagger back,” claimed the voice of Kirk Herbstreit.”

“The best for Tennessee is still yet to come,” Volunteer coach Josh Heupel said.

“Can Alabama bounce back?” asked another analyst.

Heather Dinich just wants to know: “Georgia, can they do it again?”

Otherwise, the video featured clips from teams across the country and across various conferences, highlighting some of the more exciting games of last year — and all mixed in with some shots of Post Malone dancing as he sang his song, “Something Real” which just came out on his Austin album on July 28.

If you’re in need of a refresher on the top college football powers, take a look at the current favorites to win it all this upcoming season, via odds provided by Vegas Insider.

College Football Playoff National Championship odds

The CFP national championship is set to take place on Jan. 8, 2024 at NRG Stadium in Houston. Before that, the Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl will serve as the two College Football Playoff semifinal games.

The SEC leads all conferences with five teams among the top 20 in odds to win the national championship. The Big Ten and Pac-12 are right behind them with four apiece, while the Big 12 and ACC both have three teams.

USC is the first team outside of the Big Ten or SEC and brings back last year’s Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams. The Trojans also brought in 14 transfers to rank No. 1 in On3’s Transfer Portal Team Rankings as they hope to reach the CFP in just the second season under coach Lincoln Riley.

It’s obviously still early with no football having been played yet, so these odds are bound to change drastically once we get into the season. But for now, these are the teams that enter 2023 with expectations of taking home a national championship trophy.
