Conference USA — Rod Smith, Jacksonville State OC

MAC — Lou Esposito, Western Michigan DC
Western Michigan’s defense had four takeaways and produced points on a defensive touchdown and two safeties during a 45-21 win over Eastern Michigan. The Broncos also had four sacks and held the Eagles to 28 rushing yards.
