Top 25 classes in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings

Just eight weeks remain until the Early Signing Period, and the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings have been updated after the latest commitments and decommitments.
Below are the top 25 classes in the 2024 cycle, breaking down which programs have the top prospects in the country committed:
1. Georgia — 94.465
3 five-stars | 19 four-stars | 5 three-stars | 27 total commits
Top Commit: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, No. 3 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The rich have only gotten richer in Athens. The Bulldogs now have nine top-100 prospects committed, led by Five-Star Plus+ CB Ellis Robinson IV and Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge LB Justin Williams. Other high-profile commits include Buford (Ga.) five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star TE Jaden Reddell, Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge four-star DL Joseph Jonah-Ajonye and Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star RB Nathaniel Frazier, the No. 2 tailback in the cycle.
2. Ohio State — 93.727
5 five-stars | 11 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, No. 1 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Buckeyes now easily have the most five-star pledges in the nation at five. Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes QB Air Noland acquired five-star status, while Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep WR Jeremiah Smith is the top-ranked player in the nation. Chicago St. Ignatius five-star DL Justin Scott, New Haven (Ind.) WR Mylan Graham and Buford (Ga.) defensive lineman Eddrick Houston round out the quintet.
3. Florida — 93.046
3 five-stars | 14 four-stars | 5 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Willis (Texas) five-star QB DJ Lagway, No. 17 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Gators shot up the rankings after a humongous June that witnessed 10 commitments. Since then, Billy Napier and Co. have continued to add top talent, most recently five-star defensive lineman LJ McCray. He joins McKinney (Texas) five-star safety Xavier Filsaime and Willis (Texas) five-star QB DJ Lagway atop the commit list.
4. Florida State — 92.292
3 five-stars | 10 four-stars | 9 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ safety KJ Bolden, No. 8 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Seminoles were active on the trail this summer with commitments, none bigger than Venice (Fla.) five-star cornerback Charles Lester III. He was FSU’s highest-ranked commit until the beginning of August, when Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ safety KJ Bolden picked the ‘Noles. After losing out on LJ McCray to rival Florida, FSU flipped Miami five-star commit Armondo Blount, who reclassified into 2024.
5. Alabama — 92.226
2 five-stars | 11 four-star | 7 three-stars | 20 total commits
Top Commit: Carlsbad (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Julian Sayin, No. 4 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Sayin and five-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe are the two prizes of the cycle for Nick Saban, who also have top-100 commitments from Carrollton (Ga.) four-star TE Caleb Odom, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star CB Zabien Brown and Lindale (Texas) four-star IOL Casey Poe.
6. Texas A&M — 92.096
3 five-star | 11 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 21 total commits
Top Commit: Phenix City (Ala.) Central five-star wide receiver Cam Coleman, No. 12 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Aggies made a big splash in September, as they beat out Texas and Oklahoma for Lafayette (La.) Acadiana five-star DL Dominick McKinley, the No. 22 player in the cycle and also landed five-star athlete Terry Bussey. Five-star Coleman remains in the class as well, but Auburn and others are hot in pursuit.
7. Notre Dame — 91.619
1 five-star | 14 four-stars | 8 three-stars | 23 total commits
Top Commit: Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South four-star wide receiver Cam Williams, No. 28 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Williams, along with Saline (Mich.) four-star quarterback CJ Carr and (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa highlight a balanced an extremely deep class for Marcus Freeman and Co.
8. Oregon — 91.606

Top Commit: Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei DL Aydin Breland, No. 39 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Ducks landed a big flip early this fall, pulling Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra four-star CB Dakoda Fields away from USC. He joins Forney (Texas) four-star safety Aaron Flowers and Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy four-star CB Ify Obidegwu in what could become a feared secondary down the road in Eugene.
Oregon already landed elite four-star defensive lineman Aydin Breland as well, and they’re trending heavily with Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic EDGE Elijah Rushing as well.
9. Tennessee — 91.561
2 five-star | 13 four-stars | 5 three-stars | 20 total commits
Top Commit: Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview five-star wide receiver Mike Matthews, No. 16 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Volunteers jumped all the way into the top 10 after a big July, which included the pledges of Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview five-star receiver Mike Matthews, Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban four-star interior offensive lineman William Satterwhite and Nashville Lipscomb Academy four-star linebacker Edwin Spillman.
Just one prospect committed to Josh Heupel and Co. in August, but it was a big one in Birmingham (Ala.) Vestavia Hills five-star EDGE Jordan Ross, the No. 28 recruit and No. 4 EDGE in the cycle.
10. Oklahoma — 91.557
1 five-stars | 12 four-stars | 13 three-stars | 27 total commits
Top Commit: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman David Stone, No. 7 in On3 Industry Ranking
The Sooners may be the hottest team on the recruiting trail heading into the fall. Brent Venables landed his centerpiece pledge in Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Five-Star Plus+ DL David Stone, who chose OU over Miami. On Sept. 9, top-100 Melissa (Texas) four-star DL Nigel Smith II committed. OU already is up to 27 commitments, but they’re working on a few key flips down the stretch.
11. LSU — 91.445
0 five-stars | 16 four-stars | 8 three-stars | 24 total commits
Top Commit: Jackson (La.) East Feliciana four-star tight end Trey’Dez Green, No. 42 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Tigers have kept the foot on the gas and now find themselves just outside the top 10, despite not having a five-star commitment. Four of the six highest-ranked recruits in the class joined since July, including Orlando Edgewater four-star CB Cai Bates and Duncanville (Texas) four-star RB Caden Durham.
Jackson (La.) East Feliciana four-star TE Trey’Dez Green has been a major senior riser and could contend for five-star status by the end of the cycle.
12. Penn State — 91.211

Top Commit: Belle Vernon (Pa.) four-star athlete Quinton Martin, No. 55 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Penn State reeled in a pair of four-star recruits towards the end of July. On consecutive days, the Nittany Lions received pledges from Brookline (Mass.) Dexter four-star athlete Liam Andrews and Miami (Fla.) Central four-star DL T.A. Cunningham. Andrews said he plans to play defensive line in college. The Nittany Lions’ class is as deep as just about anybody in the country with 15 four-star pledges.
13. Texas — 91.056
2 five-stars | 10 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 17 total commits
Top Commit: Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Colin Simmons, No. 5 in On3 Industry Ranking
The Longhorns landed arguably their No. 1 target this summer in Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Colin Simmons, who committed on Aug. 10. Of Texas’ 18 pledges, 16 have come since June, including Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star offensive tackle Brandon Baker.
14. Michigan — 91.048

Top Commit: Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller four-star running back Jordan Marshall, No. 52 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Marshall chose the Wolverines over in-state Ohio State and has the chance to be Michigan’s next elite running back. Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day four-star QB Jadyn Davis and Rochester (Mich.) Adams four-star TE Brady Prieskorn highlight a strong offensive haul for Jim Harbaugh and Co.
15. Miami — 90.922

The Hurricanes added three prospects in August: Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star safety Zaquan Patterson, Cincinnati Taft four-star EDGE Elias Rudolph and Zachary (La.) three-star OT Kavion Broussard to help them vault into the top 15. Trader headlines as the No. 10 wideout in the cycle.
16. Clemson — 90.621

Top Commit: Jefferson (Ga.) five-star LB Sammy Brown, No. 14 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Jefferson (Ga.) five-star LB Sammy Brown kicked things off in June for the Tigers, and Midlothian (Texas) five-star WR Bryant Wesco followed his commitment soon after.
The class also includes top-100 Lancaster (Texas) four-star CB Corian Gipson , Woodstock (Ill.) Marian Central Catholic four-star TE Christian Bentancur and Tampa (Fla.) Catholic four-star WR TJ Moore.
17. Auburn — 90.575

Top Commit: Foley (Ala.) wide receiver Perry Thompson, No. 34 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Tigers managed to flip a pair of elite recruits from its two biggest rivals in the span of three days at the end of July, adding Clanton (Ala.) Chilton County four-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick from Georgia, then Foley (Ala.) wide receiver Perry Thompson from Alabama. They remain in the hunt for a couple of key targets committed elsewhere.
18. USC — 90.268

Top Commit: Los Angeles (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star wide receiver Xavier Jordan, No. 63 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Trojans made a splash by landing the commitment of top-ranked 2026 QB Julian Lewis, but the 2024 class has stayed stagnant. Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra four-star CB Dakoda Fields flipped to Oregon, leaving USC with only 15 total commits. The Trojans added local cornerback Isaiah Rubin in October, but will have to work hard to hold onto some of their top commits as the Early Signing Period looms.
19. South Carolina — 90.098

Top Commit: Washington D.C. Friendship Collegiate Academy Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Dylan Stewart, No. 10 in On3 Industry Ranking
The Gamecocks made their splash on Aug. 1, adding Washington D.C. Friendship Collegiate Academy Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Dylan Stewart. He’s the third top-100 pledge in South Carolina’s class, alongside Dillon (S.C.) four-star OT Josiah Thompson and Dorchester (S.C.) Woodland four-star OT Kam Pringle.
20. Arkansas — 89.431

Top Commit: Pine Bluff (Ark.) Wilbur D. Mills four-star DL Charleston Collins, No. 84 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
Temple (Texas) Lake Belton four-star CB Selman Bridges, Wilbur D. Mills four-star DL Charleston Collins and Pine Bluff (Ark.) four-star athlete Courtney Crutchfield lead the way for the Hogs as top-150 commits.
21. Ole Miss — 89.252

Top Commit: Lake Cormorant (Miss.) four-star EDGE Kamarion Franklin, No. 61 in On3 Industry Ranking
Lake Cormorant (Miss.) four-star EDGE Kamarion Franklin is the top-ranked recruit in the class and is one of seven four-stars in the fold for Lane Kiffin. Winter Garden (Fla.) four-star QB Trever Jackson and Ocean Springs (Miss.) St. Martin four-star WR Noreel White lead another strong offensive cycle for the Rebels.
22. Texas Tech — 89.250

Top Commit: Temple (Texas) Lake Belton Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Micah Hudson, No. 6 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Red Raiders finally finished off their recruitment top-10 Temple (Texas) Lake Belton WR Micah Hudson in September, giving Joey McGuire and Co. a centerpiece pledge in the 2024 cycle. Sachse (Texas) four-star EDGE Cheta Ofili is behind Hudson as the No. 2 pledge in the class after committing in April. Prosper (Texas) four-star OT Ellis Davis, Hutto (Texas) four-star QB Will Hammond and Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss four-star safety Peyton Morgan bolster Texas Tech’s No. 1 Big 12 class.
23. Wisconsin — 88.871

Luke Fickell’s first cycle has Wisconsin sitting in the top 25 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star RB Dilin Jones highlights as the only top-200 commit.
24. Kentucky — 88.781

The Wildcats have been on a tear since mid-September, flipping four-star twins Jacob Smith and Jerod Smith, and then landing four-star EDGE Brian Robinson over Michigan in October. In-state four-star quarterback Cutter Boley also gives UK a coveted signal-caller to build around.
