Seems like their SEC schedule has always been backloaded and they start pretty well, but then fade away.

I don’t see Beard going anywhere. He’s still toxic from his personal problems. And he didn’t make NCAA tournament his first year. What makes him totally desirable.

I disagree. I think he’s one and done in Oxford.

Both of them could leave for better jobs
As bad as I hate to say it, Jans is more likely to leave than Beard. Next season will be almost a complete MSU rebuild year. Hopefully Jans will be motivated by that challenge as opposed to looking to go elsewhere. I think he stays. Beard is not going anywhere. He has a good contract and coaches in a non basketball school. That said, Beard will leave them before they leave him.

They aren’t very good for sure, but I do think they hired a good coach.
They had 3 starters out with injuries in their last game. 2 have been out for several games. Beard will improve next season with better backups sadly.
