See the link below. From the article:

”Charles Barkley says next season will be his final one on TV.

Barkley, part of the highly popular, award-winning "Inside the NBA" studio show, said Friday night that the 2024-25 season will be his last with TNT and that he won't be joining any other network beyond that, either.

"I ain't going nowhere other than TNT," Barkley said on NBATV following the Dallas Mavericks' Game 4 victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday night. "But I have made the decision that no matter what happens, next year is going to be my last year on television. And I just want to say thank you to my NBA family. You guys have been great to me. My heart is full with joy and gratitude."”

Will we be better or worse?

I don't follow the NBA, but I will certainly miss Barkley on the college basketball coverage during March Madness. He was on the NHL show the other night, and was entertaining there as well.
So, imo, we will be worse, but the Madness studio show panels are really pretty good overall.

Maybe we’ll still get Sir Charles on Subway commercials.

That'll be unfortunate ... he makes that show. He's the village idiot, but still likable ... not sure if he's in on the fact that he's the joke most of the time but he's awesome to laugh at.

That dude shoulda left him alone didn’t he say something to his woman or touch her?
I’m not sure of the details in this case…but it’s apparently pretty common for guys to be drunk enough to think that they can make a name for themselves by fighting a famous tough athlete…. and thinking they’ll win!

I recall Chuck blowing kisses to the crowd while running up the court at the old Stokely Athletic Center on the U Tennessee campus. My roommate had a key to a side door into Stokely so we never had to worry about tickets. Kentucky did not once win in Knoxville while I was there.

I don't even watch the NBA anymore but I agree completely. That TNT crew is the best studio group in sports, and it's not even close.
These networks think the answer is to put more people on their studio shows. Even TNT thought it was a good idea to put Draymond Green on with the regular TNT guys. But you are right. TNT struck gold with Ernie, Kenny and Charles. I don’t know that Shaq adds much to the show, but he isn’t a big negative either. As you said, no other studio show is particularly close.
