See the link below. From the article:

”LOS ANGELES -- Country music star Chris Stapleton will hit next month's Super Bowl stage to sing the national anthem, while R&B legend Babyface will perform "America the Beautiful."

The performances will take place Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, before the championship matchup and halftime show featuring Rihanna. The performances will air on Fox.

Actor-singer Sheryl Lee Ralph, who won an Emmy last year, will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing." She stars in the hit comedy series "Abbott Elementary," which stars Quinta Brunson.

Oscar winner Troy Kotsur will perform the national anthem in American Sign Language. He became the second deaf actor to win an Academy Award for his role in the film "CODA." Colin Denny will sign "America the Beautiful," and "Lift Every Voice and Sing" will be signed by Justina Miles.”

As much of a chance of having Whitey Stapleton do it.

I was always partial to Dave Stapleton.

I would rather have either one of them doing the halftime show.

Did any of you guys see Stapleton on 60 minutes a few months ago. Good interview. Seems like a regular guy. Said when he started in music he didn’t know songwriters were a thing?

Chris is from a tiny town in KY ,think Cressona, pa (yes his Wiki says he was born in Lexington, ky but that was the closest hospital), he was the class Valedictorian plus he was the football star. I swear back in the day I heard his band Steeldrivers in some watering hole in Huntington, wv. They were awesome as a bunch of kids.
Went to Vandy in Nashville, to be an engineer, but stayed for the music.

The amount of time between the bar where I watch the first half of the Super Bowl and my home is almost exactly the same as the length of the halftime show which has suited me perfectly for several years now.

Paintsville, KY. I saw him perform in Lexington a few years ago and he is amazing. I don’t like too many country singers, but he’s extremely good.

Just heard they are adding AC/DC for those about to rock. Neil diamond sweet Caroline, Bon Jovi half way there. Queen we are the champions.

they figured there were not enough songs to start a game these days.
