”UNIVERSITY PARK – As the new academic year kicks off, the Penn State community is invited to tune in on Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. for a livestreamed update from President Neeli Bendapudi and other senior leaders about the state of transformation and change across the University. The virtual update, titled “From Great to Greater: Achieving Purpose, Agility and Opportunity at Penn State,” will be open to faculty, staff, students and the public.

Joining Bendapudi for the event will be Interim Executive Vice President and Provost Tracy Langkilde, Senior Vice President for Research Andrew Read, and Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses and Executive Chancellor Margo DelliCarpini. I’m hoping I feel transformed and agile after the comprehensive report by a blue ribbon commission but I suspect I will only feel as though I’ve experienced great progress being aligned with the key drivers of change. More study by an objective third party will be requisite once we enter the next phase of transformation.

Gee, I would love to attend this glorious event, but I have to flea-dip my ***** and then blow dry it so it would keep a nice shine on its hair and then trim the nails, so they don't shred the curtains. It's comforting to me that since I live in Georgia and I'm retired, that all the misled decisions by the Penn State leadership has zero impact on my life.

Can’t wait to hear Neeli say she gets it! This sheetz show will tell us how great things are and how well the process is going. Sound familiar? Neeli has gone into the bunker ever since the state said no to her request for $$$. But she’ll tell us the process is working. Be patient “we get it!”. It’s like Franklin saying “ton” all the time.
