I agree exposure can be good, just not worth the cost for majority of people including many who often have to take those classes to graduate. I don't want ZERO artists, I just want MORE engineers in the U.S.

Normal timeline to get promoted to full professor is 10-12 years
Folks on a Penn State alumni page might want to ask hard questions about this person's productivity and forget about a wealthy pop star
What one often sees are "terminal associates" who give a half hearted effort on the research part of their job, end up working less than full time, and never get promoted to full professor
A long time ago I had a swift encounter with a woman in one of the classrooms at Berks. Not quite the same thing but I enjoyed it immensely!

Maybe she has a wealthy husband or significant other and does what she does for $hits and giggles.
That should be helpful for any student pursuing a career in medicine, engineering, business, or programming.
