I’m sure I’m too old and think too much like an official…

But one of my pet peeves now is teams turning out the lights after big plays/touchdowns to put on a light show.

Auburn just scored, and they turn out the lights as an Auburn lineman and an A&M defender are getting into it. How the F are officials supposed to see what’s happening when the lights are off? Who thought this was a good idea?

I think I'm gonna watch the Paul Finebaum Show this week just to hear those boys cry! The SEC is imploding. What will they talk about this week?

If you have 3 losses and they're to the likes of Kentucky, Oklahoma, Vandy, Florida, etc. then you can't complain about not getting into the playoffs.

Also, I'd like to see the updated SOS after this week's host of pansies that the SEC teams played before their rivalry games next week.

Illegal formation. Lost the down, too. Weird.
Pretty sure it was actually called as illegal touching (from what I’ve seen online, plus that carries the loss of down)…sounds like they called that the WR was covered up in the formation, which makes him an ineligible receiver on the play.

Randy Cross is on the Colorado St-Fresno St game. Talk about a blast from the past…don’t think I’ve seen him doing a game in 20 years.
