UNC - NC State. NC State was leading 24-17. UNC appeared to complete a TD in the end zone with no time left. After review, it was ruled incomplete, but 2 seconds were put back on the clock. So 4th & goal from the 4, and UNC completes a pass for the TD with no time left, making it 24-23, NC State. UNC kicked the PAT, so we're headed to OT., 24-24
Then the Iowa coach punts from the Nebraska 45 with a minute left in the 3rd qt, down 24-7. Does he not realize the Hawkeyes only average 17 points a game?

Nebraska did Iowa a favor. They would have been mauled in the BIG 10 Championship game.

It’s a case of the stoppable force vs the moveable object
I'm flipping between UCLA/Cal and FSU/UF. It makes it obvious why there's not a lot of momentum for Cal to join the Big Ten. It's a competitive game against their in-state, in-system rival and there doesn't seem to be any energy in the stadium. OTOH, FSU/UF will be a madhouse as long as the game is on the line.

I would like to know/ understand why PS never offered the DE from Albany T. Verse that has been dominant for Florida St this season.
I think he's grown developed since HS (hence why at Albany to begin). I don't if we offered out of the portal, but these jilted home state kids tend to hold a grudge.
Why does Florida pass? 5.2 ypc. Seminoles can't stop it. Richardson is a 50/50 prospect on throwing. Might be catchable, might not be.
Don't overthink it. He had ZERO offers coming out of high school, where he played TE. While at Albany, during COVID, he added 40 lbs. of good weight.
For whatever reason, PSU was not interested him when he entered the portal.

I understand why they didn’t offer him out of Central Columbia. My cousins lives in Espy, and their kids go to CC. They know the Verse family. PS never contacted Jared when he was in the portal. He would have signed on but FSU was the best program that offered him.
My conclusion is they didn’t think he could play at this level. I’m frustrated only because they take so many OL & DL projects that don’t pan out. Then passed on a kid that produced at Albany at DE.
Just would have been nice to have Chop and Verse
