He is surrounded with perhaps the deepest roster in CFB. After Quinn Ewers goes pro, Arch has the opportunity to win a couple of Natty's and the Heisman.

Texas is loaded with talent. They are seemingly 2-3 deep at every position.
I’m not sure it’s a given that Ewers will go to the NFL after this year.

Both these teams have athletes, but they look beatable. GA wr issues might be worse than PS. Ours have trouble getting open. Theirs can’t catch. They might also be down to QB2.

Because they’ve got one of the best 10 resumes, which is what is needed to make it…and a team isn’t dropping from 5 to 11 from losing to the #2 team in a conference championship game.
I agree with the premise of what you are saying, but 3 losses is 3 losses. They have not looked good at times this season and they just spent an entire half putting up 54 yards and 3 points. Maybe I’m just annoyed because they were gifted the win last week which would have most likely put a fork in them for the season?

Both Texas and Georgia are playing scared and afraid to open up the playbook.

Based on today’s rankings, They have wins over 2, 7, and 16. Their losses are to 11, 13, and 2 (if they need an at-large). That’s such a better resume than the other 3 loss SEC teams or the loser of the ACC game (and that’s who they’d have to beat out for a spot). They are easily in.

So, on that premise then, is Bama out? Also 3 loses. XM guys were saying after the crazy weekend two weeks ago that SEC probably only deserves to get 3 in?

I’m a big proponent on SOS mattering. I’m more impressed by a 3 loss team that played 6 top 20 teams than a one loss team that played none.

I see what you mean, as I only just now turned on Texas Georgia. (Wife was watching Hallmark.)
I watch a TON of hallmark cause sometimes it ends here

If SMU loses a close one, they are. SMU bigger loss and it’ll be close. SMU win and they are in.

So, then ND is out? Because their SOS is awful and they lost to MAC team.

Texas is in trouble. Steve Sarkisian lives and dies by running the power spread with an empty backfield. Doesn’t work! You need to mix it up with your QB under center and a running game that keeps the defense honest. The Georgia defense is blitzing without consequences.

I guess holding onto a Texas jersey when blocking is ok if you're Grorgia. I think Sarkisian may have had a point based on his halftime interview.

I just discovered my dislike for Kirby Smart, guess I never really paid attention to him before
