I had an old video from this game pop up on my YouTube video list, for those who don't know it was a scoreless tie between the San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers that was called with about 5 and a half minutes left in the game due to lightning strikes, the players had been playing in a virtual monsoon for probably the five minutes prior to that decision.
Anyway, I noticed that the Chargers starting RB in that game was a former Gamecock named Clarence Williams. Now I know a great deal about our football history, but I'd never heard of this guy before seeing this video. I'm assuming he was our RB just before George Rogers got here, for those who watched back then, was he a good player, decent, or below average? Also based off what I've read he was murdered in 1994, what happened there?
