I remember watching that game when it happened we got up 21-0 at that time was when my dad(R.I.P) got home from work, and then Misery started balling out. Second half they ran the same damn play over and over again(read option) and we acted like we had never seen it before. I remember looking at my dad after we lost that game and him saying that the next year he'd just stay at work.

I remember telling my wife at halftime that we were going to lose the game so I left the house and did something else.
You could just tell that the players thought it was over.

This game was terrible. I was so excited at the half. The HBC era was officially underway. The 2nd half was a stark reminder that we still had a long way to go.

Having said that, the 06 liberty bowl against Houston was one of my favorites. That game was great to watch.

If you're looking for information about the 2005 Independence Bowl game between a team (likely representing Missouri) and another team (possibly nicknamed "Misery"), and it's currently airing on the SEC Network, I suggest tuning in to the SEC Network or checking their website for the most up-to-date information and details about the game. Additionally, you can search for historical records and summaries of the 2005 Independence Bowl to learn more about the game's outcome and highlights.
