Pierson Manville made it to the semis of the Junior GR 138 bracket. In the semis, he lost to Keith Smith (NE) by TF, 8-0 @ 1:25. (Smith ended up finishing in 1st place.) That dropped Pierson to the Consolation Semis, where he defeated Elijah Paulson (MN) by DEC, 7-3. By winning that match, he advanced to the 3rd place match, where he defeated Gunnar Hamre (WI) by DEC, 3-1. As such, he took 3rd in the Junior GR 138 competition.
