Got you bye a yr or so, still have a 73 program from one of my first gms ever. Nothing better growing up than hitting a game on a Sunday afternoon with the fam, tailgating etc..My personal goals for this season.. (Been a loyal fan since age 6-1975)
1, Develop a very strong farm system.
2. Win around 75 games.
3. Demand that ownership be FORCED to SELL the team to someone committed to winning.
I am totally sick and tired of the Nutting charade. It wouldn't surprise me if he is the least admired man in all of Pittsburgh.

Anybody use mlb.tv? My issue is blackouts, live in the eastern panhandle of WV, O's and Nats actually our local teams, but they still blackout the Bucs.. I know T Mobile did something with MLB.tv last season, but not sure oit would do me any good.
Here’s where I, personally, struggle with this. I love the game. I also seem to always root for the under dog. I can’t stand the Yankees, Dodgers, and Red Sox of the world who just try to buy what they want. I like the home grown teams that put the work in and earn it. Unfortunately, my Buccos are a disaster from the top down. I’ll still watch because I can’t ignore something that I spent 10 years participating in as a kid, but I will turn off the playoffs when all the under dogs are knocked out.Unfortunately 3 can't happen. And then he went and voted for the labor agreement that ensures the Pirates and every other small market will remain irrelevant most of the time. All the small market owners just told us fans that they don't give a crap about us as long as they're getting rich. So I'm going to return the favor and not give a crap about baseball as much as I can anymore.
Got to be a way to use someone's email and password for mlb.tv I would think..I have this problem in Columbus too. The problem is that you get blacked out if any TV carrier in your market carriers the AT&T Pittsburgh sports network. So in Columbus for years, DISH Network carried it. That meant that I was blacked out from all Pirates games, even on mlb.tv. I got excited when DISH dropped it in Columbus this year, only for DirecTV to pick it up. So once again in Columbus, the only way to watch the Pirates is if you have DirecTV, otherwise you're blacked out on any other service. And I live in the woods, so satellite isn't an option.

Any other suggestions on how to get Fox Pittsburgh without buying extra innings with a vpn etc?Would have to use a VPN tool, otherwise it checks your location regardless of whose login info you use.

I have beena long term Pirate fan. I attended World Series games in 1971 and 79, in grade school for 1960 games. In have not attended a home game in about 5 years, but did see a Pirate game in St Louis recently. I anticipated when the Pirate lease at PNC Park is up, Nutting will sell the team to folks who will move the team.
Tony.
At least they scored. Up to averaging 1.0 runs/game. ERA also dropped to under 1.0/inning.Well, at least they haven't signed Mitch Keller to any long term contract as yet. Just another Pirate AAAA pitching bust.
Yes we are still shaking our heads over the Archer tradeHas it occurred to anyone that if the Pirates cared about winning they could have a team that would start Brian Reynolds, Marte, and Meadows in the OF? Then add in Hayes and a few of the upcoming INFs they drafted and they may have something. I guess that is asking too much of a “professional” team.
I think they sort of let themselves get bullied into that by the Pittsburgh fans and media. Still on them, though.Yes we are still shaking our heads over the Archer trade
