The Best Show Ever… now discussing, is Graham’s strip-sack of Tom Brady in the SB the most iconic play in Eagles history? I am inclined to say yes it is… what say you??
somewhere between DeJean int for a TD and the dagger to Smitty

It's that.
In regards to BG, I can make an argument for him to be on the Eagles mt rushmore. Drafted by and played his whole career in philly (I'm guessing a starter for most) . Won the only 2 super bowls. Had an iconic play that arguably clinched the eagles first super bowl.
The early part of his career in Philly he was labeled a bust. The light started to turn on around yr 4 ? They gave him another yr when he broke out the rest is history

Super Bowl winner syndrome. Everyone else overpays for your free agents. Fred was a good player and def helped them last year, but good teams have to rotate guys like that through every year. League economics dictate it.
Not sure that is the case w Fred. If they don’t list the how much, he probably signed for the Vet minimum. A rookie and a vet Minimum contract are about the same relative to the cap. Maybe he wanted more to stay in a Philly but that ship sailed without him. Idk

Or he saw a chance to start in Jax. Starting is the path to big money for these guys. Even a league average starting tackle makes $10M a year.

and thats a good point. I thought if Becton stayed another yr at wherever salary here, he would have been a top 10 in demand FA next year, but what ever. Maybe they will see who gets cut after training camp, I have heard, big Ike in Pitt might be on the block, but I dont know if he's an upgrade or not.
