I don't disagree, though I do wonder if they can satisfy Williams, Becton, Baun, and Sweat and still be comfortably under the cap.

Of that bunch Becton is the least of the priority, followed by Sweat. Imo Williams n Baun are top as well as Rodgers

Roob has them ranked in priority as Baun, Williams, Becton, and Sweat. He didn't list Rodgers (and wasn't doing a complete analysis of all the FAs):

this one shocks me....
6. The 1988, 1989 and 1990 Eagles defenses had Reggie White, Clyde Simmons, Jerome Brown, Byron Evans, Seth Joyner, Mike Pitts and Mike Golic. But in playoff losses to the Bears in 1988, the Rams in 1989 and Washington in 1990, they had a total of three sacks.

My same reaction. The Bears game was the Fog Bowl, so that deserves an asterisk. But I would have expected more than 3 sacks from that D.

A few post season thoughts.

Earlier in the season, I second guessed the Jalen Hurts contract. I wondered if he was really the franchise QB that the contract warranted. I was wrong. I'm not saying he is a top 5 NFL QB (maybe he is?), but make no mistake, he is a legit super bowl caliber QB and he proved it. I really couldn't be happier for him and look forward to more good years.

I also second guessed Nick at times. I'm still not convinced that he isn't more a benefactor of an incredible roster than a great coach, but I saw significant improvement over the season and dude is officially a super bowl champ.

Which brings me to Howie. This dude has been lambasted and mocked by some over the years as a glorified fantasy football player. Since emerging from relegation during the Chip Kelly era, he has built 3 legit super bowl teams and won 2. Botch a WR draft (Jefferson)? make up for it by getting AJ and drafting Smith. Glaring weakness at LB and DB? draft 2 studs at CB and pick up Zach Baun. It's time to ask the question if he is the best GM in the NFL. In fact, is it even a question?
And mastery of the salary cap

He probably is the best gm, and he will be in the hall of fame

I think that D has a bit of a legacy of not showing up in the biggest games. Lots of great players, but those Eagles teams were to antithesis of clutch.

Ah yes, a fond memory of mine. I was @ 50 yards (give or take) from Kelce when he gave this speech at the end of the parade after Super Bowl LII.

I can tell if she means PFF has Hurts as the 24 highest QB (meaning only 8 ahead of him) or if he's the 24th lowest QB (according to PFF)
