LOL, he can watch all the videos he wants, but nothing will really prepare him for an Eagles' championship parade!

speaking of freeing up salary cap space

Yeah, that it will. Bradberry never shied away from the holding call late in Super Bowl LVII, or the struggles he had last season. I respect him as a person, and salute him for some great plays he made as an Eagle. That said, I think it would be best for all parties if he were on another team next season.

I'm not sure how much his leaving helps the Birds from a cap perspective. He signed a 3-year contract worth $38M in 2023. There was a $7,985,000 signing bonus in that contract. According to sportskeeda, the figures for Bradberry for 2025 are:

Base salary: $2,100,000
Signing Bonus: $1,567,000
Cap Hit: $5,195,000
Dead Cap: $10,813,000

Spotrac has the same numbers.

Spotrac indicates that of the $38M contract, $20M was guaranteed, and that this portion is already taken care of by the signing bonus, the 2023 salary, and the 2024 option bonus. They also indicate that the 2025 salary numbers fully guarantee on March 13, 2025. So, I guess we'll know within a month what the Birds plan to do.

Bradberry, Slay, Maddox and BG have to be about $35M between them.

That should give Howie a real shot at retaining Baun, Williams and maybe even Bekton.

Graham made $4M in 2024. He doesn't help as much as one might think. There was a signing bonus in his 2024 contract, and a restructure, so for 2025 he's a cap hit of $3,235,000

Maddox made $2M in 2024. He would not be any type of cap hit if he were not resigned.

Slay signed a 3 year, $42M contact in 2023. He'd be a $13,780,000 cap hit and carry a dead cap value of $22,770,000 if he were not on the 2025 roster. Of the $42M contract, $24.5M was guaranteed, and that's already been reached at this point. Spotrac indicates that he would get a $16.1 option bonus if he's on the 2025 roster, which would be paid out by the start of the 2025 regular season.

I addressed Bradberry in an earlier reply.

I'm sue at some point in the coming weeks we'll get a detailed analysis of each player that the Birds have to make a decision about. Short of that, I struggle to figure out how much it helps the Birds from a salary cap perspective to jettison some guys about whom there are questions about whether or not they can play or start for the Birds.

Amazing how many people mentioned Myles Garrett today along the parade route, while we were waiting for the buses to come by.

and it's always like a half second too late. The FCC is chalking up fines left and right. You can see Dave Spadaro (who presumably runs these broadcast relationships) wince with each F-bomb.

yeah, it is frustrating to watch. The "words you can't say" come across the broadcast, and then a second or two later the audio goes silent, and then you miss the next clause, sentence, several words -- something like that.

BG is the last speaker, and seemed to be doing well, but then he ends it with the "We're from Philly" song, and half of it is silent after the bleep button kicks in after the curse word.

it's hysterical. Only a few players have not required a bleep.
whats so funny about LOW standards and lack of respect for fans who brought children to see their favorite players. also, super great to see #1 with a cigar hanging from his mouth and 26 with beer label on his head!! dont they realize how many kids they influence ?? I LOST MUCH RESPECT FOR THAT TEAM TODAY
