For a tournament that didn't seem to have a lot of drama (at least on the USA side), that was fun. How much pitching will Lake Mary have left for tomorrow? It will be interesting to see how they respond after an improbable comeback. Coach needs to set a curfew tonight...lol
People from TX bitching about being out w/ one loss. Where does it say this a double elimination tournament? FL certainly earned it having to play almost every day after a second round loss.

Probably see pitching by committee until the pitch counts get them. They have some gamers though. I wouldn't count them out tomorrow. The last pitcher they threw w/ the long hair is a really good player. You can tell he knows exactly what is going on.

Just an observation. The balls and strikes calls in LLWS is horrendous. It jumps out at me each year when I watch. The strike zones are so huge, some of the called strikes are unhittable. There was a kid on the FL team, chubby kid, who was victimized twice by multiple terrible calls and he struck out twice. Felt terrible for the kid. IMO it takes away from the game.
With respect to the end of yesterday's game, there is something beautiful about winning a game because you can execute a bunt, perhaps the simplest play in baseball. And something to be said for losing the game because of an inability to execute bunt defense. Those teams yesterday were very impressive.

The picture of the Lake Mary Coach consoling the China Teipei kid defines sportsmanship. đź‘Ź
