Kasak took down the #1 and #3 seed in wrestle backs.
Trying to enjoy the championship, the chase for the scoring record and strive for 6 champions, but..Kasak would be a national title contender next season at 149/141
If Kasak and Truax both finish 3rd and 5th respectively, then going 4 of 6 tonight gets us to 170.5 points (no bonus points needed).

Kasak defeated Waters 5-0 in R2. Kasak finished 5th that year, while Waters did not place.

I think Bernie would had been better at 197. If only Brooks had stayed at 184, but have to defer to Brooks and his Olympic future.
Byers with a good point. At 149, for 5th place, you have #1 seed Ridge Lovett (Nebraska) taking on #2 seed Kyle Parco (Arizona St.) If the weight class had gone chalk, this would have been the final tonight.
Since none of us are actually wrestling, I struggle to see where it matters if we slow down, speed up, or stop completely
And Josh Barr may end up being better than Truax. What we have seen of him during redshirt has been very encouraging plus comments by CStar. CStar's comments remind me of the complimentary remarks by Mark Hall about CStar during his redshirt year.
