Pickett = worthless.

A bone head stuPiTidy move by Tomlin.

Why does he continue to give PiT a reach around?

Sure, but which of those Browns QBs in all that time would have turned them around if they'd just been more patient? The fact that the Browns are just atrocious at evaluating QB talent doesn't invalidate my plan.

Look around the league. You essentially know before the season starts which 6-8 teams can actually win the Super Bowl with their QB. If you don't have one of those, you're just wasting your time with whoever you have. Draft QBs until you have a super bowl caliber one.
Sounds good, except drafting QBs in the first round that bust sets you back multiple years, like the Browns have done several times. Now, if you take a flyer on a QB in later rounds and it doesn’t work out, not such a big deal.

What exists is a guy that lost his job to a 3rd stringer and Rudolph is now a free agent. You think 2025 draft is the answer?
Pribula will be the answer, just like everyone thinks he will be here…. 🙄

Agree, I’m not advocating for taking a 1st round QB if he doesn’t fit the grade (see, Kenny Pickett)

Having a mediocre offensive line won’t be good for a new quarterback, but especially a rookie. I think they could get a decent free agent guy like Gardner Minshew to battle picket for this year who won’t cost an arm and a leg, but will be a definite upgrade from who they had last year.they could then use their first two pics on another tackle and center so that way whoever is the quarterback in 2025 will have a quality offensive line.

If they decide to trade back a few spots in the first round, they may not get a tackle that they want but they could then draft the center they need and have an extra pick to maybe get a guy like Jordan Travis later

Unfortunately, I think it's more likely Tannehill that they bring in because of the OC. I'd rather sign Rudolph back than that.

I’d be ok with this too. Teams like the Eagles and Chiefs built up their lines before they got their franchise QB and it paid off. Smith likes to run the ball at OC, so build up that OL and run it then. I’ve read where the UGA OT is a road grader at run blocking. If they get him, it would move Jones back to LT. Draft a C to anchor the OL and give them some time to gel.

Well this certainly isn't a good look for the organization. At least part of the blame is pointing at sharing the stadium with Pitt.

I'm far more embarrassed about the terrible personnel decisions and ridiculous pathetic losses over the last decade.

Rooney and Tull are buying up minority shares of the team. Guess when Tull became a minority owner of the Steelers? 2009.

I was at a playoff game in the 1970's at Three Rivers Stadium when Andy returned a fumble for a 93-yard touchdown after a strip sack by Jack Ham.

He was playing with a hamstring injury that day. His teammates wanted him to lateral the ball during his return but he gutted it out to get the touchdown. Andy never missed a game in his 12 years as a Steeler.

Linked a video below of that play:

Ham, Russell and Lambert were an excellent trio of linebackers. Have an autographed and framed picture of them together in the locker room during the 1974 Super Bowel in New Orleans.

That is the game that created the Terrible Towel. Myron Cope waived a towel yelling at Russell to get moving.

I actually thought that was legit for a second. Turns out it’s fake news.

Rookie offensive linemen mixing it up. I like nasty offensive linemen. I think this OL will be drastically better this year.

They were just discussing The Steelers receiving options on Sportscenter and they said that Freiermuth would see an expanded role. Hannah Storm said, "Yeah we love him. Go Irish." LOL
