Aaron Brooks goes down 0-4 in the 1st period to Alex Dieringer. In the 2nd period, it's all AB, as he wins 8-4
Really crazy I had 0 concern about Brooks going down 0-4 immediately.
If Brooks had released his grip after taking Dieringer to his back, it would have been scored as you suggest. Because he kept a lock throughout the move (until he turned over), it was just 4 for Brooks

No JB refused to shake then the Ref grabbed his hand and sorta made him.
That length difference is tough to overcome. I was always shorter than my opponents also. You saw it with Mark Hall vs Valencia also.
I saw it differently, JB didn’t want to shake. He also effectively stopped the match to lecture MM. Early on I think JB got poked, MM tried to be decent and held his hand up for five, JB ignored him. My grass grows faster than JB was fixing is socks.
JB will not have the size and power advantage over Nolf like he did Mitch
