Hopefully he works out, but between Cunha, Mbuemo, and now Sesko hopefully United can actually put the ball in the net a few times this year.

I’m going to be proactive in doing my pre-match hw. I have recently had a tendency of floating through the season, just paying attention to the match at hand, no research. FWIW, these writers each have TOT at 6 or 7.

Spurs up 1-0 at half vs PSG in the Super Cup match. Don’t know how Spurs will fare in the EPL, but Frank has them way more disciplined than Ange and I’m really liking how tough Kudus has been. They need some new creative midfielders however.

Now 2-0 goal by Romero! COYS!!

2 coaches under pressure for different reasons with Man U vs. Arsenal. Arsenal basically the same squad with come nice new parts....Man U breaking in a new front line, but maybe they can actually score some goals this season. Should be a banger of a match, but the Gunners have a bit too much right now in the midfield for United.

Credit to Bournemouth. They were solid and made Liverpool work for it. Liverpool need to shore up the defense. I think they will. They also need time to jell given the new signees.

Of course, they have Mo. 😀

Final today: Aston Villa 0, Newcastle United 0

United had a man advantage starting at the 66th minute due to a Villa red card, but they did nothing with it.

Alexander Isak did not play for Newcastle, and it’s being said that has no intention to play for them again. Liverpool supposedly is getting close to signing him.

Fulham get the equalizer in the 97th minute. Crazy.

Ha’Way the Lads!! Sunderland with an amazing 3 nil win after 8 years adrift. Stadium of Light was so loud you couldn’t hear the announcers for much of the match. Great start.
