It is going to be a challenge. We already weren’t blocking well and a 5’9” setter playing front row doesn’t bode well for improvement. Coach may have to get creative and let one of the littles set some so she can sub in a big for the new starting setter when she rotates to the front row. We saw it a little bit in the last game. I am a big fan of Addie Lyon. Good server and apparently a respected leader. But 5’9” is 5’9”.

Yes there's a big drop off but I thought they played better last night. Maybe they can string some wins together as they get into conference play. I think they can compete with anybody except Nebraska.Quite the drop off from last year’s run.

There is one consistent hitter -- Martin. That is not going to get it done against the top teams. Combined with the loss of Izzy, this team went from a Final Four top end at the beginning of the year to maybe a Sweet 16 top end now and even that looks shaky.
