Is there a chance that Barr goes back to 184? I haven’t seen anything definitive.

No, those of us who can actually complete an intelligent thought care. When you have the greatest college dynasty in existence, you don’t mess with success & perception outside the program matters. Hopefully you’ll one day mature & be able to understand these things that are obviously too deep for your present thoughts, if any.
It was up to Rocco whether he sat or not. At least it was until Ryder made it a little easier. Rocco still has to win the job. Mirasola could come down or Asher come up. It's not a gimme. Eocco did not exactly overwhelm opponents on his way to silver.

We do this every offseason -- change starters' weights because reasons.
In the real world, it's not happening. Barr earned the right to pick his weight -- and he's gonna shed 15 lb of good mass AND maintain that cut for at least a full year (if not multiple years)?
He’s headed to Stillwater. DT and the OK state $$$ are all in. There were rumors of this before Figs entered the portal. This along with the accusations that DT and staff had contact with Ryder before he announced for the portal make you wonder how many “conversations” DT had with guys who weren’t yet in the portal. Who regulates this Wild West?

Not exactly portal related, but rumor going around that Gilman is returning to PSU. This seems to have legs.
Probably a combination of things. His wife is from PA, and that was no small part of why he moved to PSU the first time.
Some smoke about he and Taylor not always seeing eye to eye as coaches, not sure how reliable that is.
Ultimately it would force Taylor to hire a new assistant AND deprive his lightweights of a world champ-level training partner.

I was not a fan of Gilman at Iowa, but I feel like he matured and became more comfortable with himself while at PSU. If this is what he wants, then let’s go. Come on back!
I have heard similar sentiment in regards to Taylor leaving State College and some feeling it was time for him to go.
I suspect Gilman would have an NLWC role.
It would be ironic if he came back to run M2.
Absolutely Huge for the PSU light weights. He was the one guy we needed to stay when DT left. Will help 125, 133, and 141 be National Champions along with getting the best recruits in the world.
How long before Mineo starts posting about Spencer Lee heading to Stillwater?
That would be a great move. Let Zain and Gillman run M2. They could still train in the NLWC plus wrestle with the team. That would attract a Ton of Elite high school wrestlers back to M2 like it was when DT was running it.
