Have seen him play 3 times in last two years. JJ Hill is much better. Yates is good but I’m not sure he sees field much at any of these places he’s listed. Potential is there but he had some chances to really show out against some horrible 2 and 3A defenses and tended to play down to the competition. Would like to have him but Hill is the catch in that class. I wouldn’t be burning any SEC bridges if I was this guy.
This is not news. Honestly anything beyond 2025 roster matters not. What we do next season will have an impact on what actually ends up being our 2026 class.

i'd like to have him as a safety. not as a rb. i saw him play this year. wasn't overly impressive. he didn't take over a game and put his team on his back, or anything. i'd be shocked if he qualified, though. Same with AK Dear. His HS head coach told me that he doubts he qualifies (hadn't made his ACT score as of a few weeks ago, and doesn't have the state testing score to qualify), and that they'd be much better next year without him. He is not a team player.
