Penn St has 6 guys at Final X how many make the team?
Would 4 make you happy?
My heart says Luke but my head says Spencer

At 61kg I have Blaze. It’s going to be super tight but I think Blaze has the defense and freestyle acumen to pull it off. Probably goes all 3

I have Zain winning 70kg. Lovett is very good in free and has so many ways to score but Zain’s defense is incredible and his leg attacks/finishing looked good this weekend. I feel like he will be even better at Final X

Levi vs Chance is a fun matchup. 2 tough guys who don’t give up much. I think Levi wins. He is such a good finisher and continues to get better at free every time out

I’m on the fence at 86kg. It’s tough to pick Dake after watching Zahid beat him last year. Dake has looked great this season though and I expect a much better series this time. I’ll pick Dake but only because I really dislike Zahid. I don’t have a ton of confidence in it

Snyder cruises over Buchanan. I thought it would be a true test for Snyder when Buchanan beat Yazdani and looked dominant throughout the year but then he just went and got teched at Pan-ams. Not a great way to go into Final X. Snyder is as steady as they come

So I think I’m picking 5, feel like they have a real chance at 6, but would be happy with 4.

Hawk fans have been questioning why Spencer gives matches away in short time. I think he still gases... he's just better at hiding it. Luke keeps things close and then finishes him off...

57kg - Head says Spencer, heart says Luke

Spencer is the better wrestler... but maybe not???? Lilledahl really did an amazing job, not giving up the takedowns and then scoring in the 2nd period.

61kg - Jax. Man is this going to be an amazing series. Marcus is a lot more offensive than people realize. This is going 3 matches.

65kg - Bassett in 3. Loses the first match, and possibly bad.

70kg - Can Ridge get Zain in some funky situations? If not, Zain is the guy.

74kg - Yuck to me right now. Green won't medal, this version of Carr isn't exactly inspiring confidence.

79kg - Levi gonna handfight Marsteller into the ground.

86kg - Gimme Z. Dake looks a lot more comfortable though. And is moving his feet again

92kg - The King of Underhooks wins and wins gold at worlds again

97kg - Snyder finds a way to not solicit an agent of the State. Hope Buchanan can use his athleticism and make the matches competetive.

125kg - True toss up because Wyatt still can't score from a tie and too willing to do dumb sht. Still picking him though.

No matter how hard Spencer tried at the Sr. Open to hide it, Luke exposed it for everybody to see.
As far as Hawk fans perceiving it as giving matches away, as a collective Hawks fans have almost zero objectivity when assessing wrestling. It's either stalling, hurt, just evil bad luck or Cael is cheating.
