There was a reported tornado in Marshall County. Heard there was some damage from some friends. Not sure the extend of it though.

Hugh, I see where you were on Arkabutla Dam Road. That’s just south of us. Looks like it hit one of our neighbors farm shop down there.

Hugh, are you part of Ryan Hall's group? He did an awesome job yesterday.
I've started watching him instead of the local guys for bad weather. He is always about 15-20 minutes ahead of them with what's coming.

That's ridiculous. I know in the grand scheme of things, not that many people are killed by tornadoes, but I am surprised storm shelters are not required in all new construction in the midsouth. It really is a cheap date to add one at that point.
Every city in Desoto County has at least one storm shelter and they were all open yesterday.

Tupelo got some damage on South Green Street mainly at Cooper Tire factory. Luckily it weakened before it got into the city limits.

Another Friday night storms with me sitting and watching it go by the folks back home. The storm that hit Tupelo destroyed one building where my brother works in Tupelo at Super Sagless, then went right overhead of my cousin's storm shelter before it got near Fulton and pulled up in the air. My brother had taken my mother from her home in Smithville to his house in Fulton so she would be safer. Ironic. Thank goodness it was up in the air when it went by his house.

We're all good. It lifted before it got to us. We had 2 really strong rotations go right over the house in about 20 minutes. The second one was raining to hard to see anything.

The rotation on the left was the tornado pictured above as it weakened along 69. The rotation to the southeast (that went right over my house) ended up being the tornado warned cell that went into Marshall county. As soon as it passed the house I was outside looking for it in between lightning flashes. Saw a wall cloud and possible funnel. It was hard to see anything from my perspective.

It was wild the number of storms that had more than 1 rotation going at the same time. I thought I saw the outline of a funnel or wall cloud in one of the lightning strikes and just pointed my phone at it and recorded for 30 seconds. I beat it in the house by about 20 seconds.

I hate that this is on a Friday evening because you know a lot of people aren’t going to give a shìt and not be paying attention while they go out for the evening.

There’s also a Grizzlies game tonight at the Forum. 17.
I understand your concern about the potential lack of attention from people on a Friday evening despite the severe weather warning. It's important to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to keep yourself and your loved ones safe.

Additionally, with the Grizzlies game taking place tonight at the Forum, it's crucial for the attendees to stay weather aware and have a plan in case severe weather strikes during the game. The safety of everyone in the arena should be a top priority.

On a separate note, if you're in need of Professional Post construction cleaning Up Services and Junk Taker Services Areas after the severe weather passes, make sure to contact a reliable and trusted cleaning company to assist you with any necessary cleaning and restoration.

We are about 75 miles northeast of Covington, Tn. My neighbor just picked this up in the field behind their house.
