for the NFC title.

Its anyone's game now. Any of the 6 NFC playoff teams could get to the Super Bowl.

.....the Eagles, Packers, Cowboys, or Cardinals over the Vikings and Saints right now. It's not how you start a season but how you finish it, and the Vikings/Saints are crashing and burning at the end.

the talking heads are the worst when it comes to this. certain matchups at certain times favor certain teams. if the cowboys came to the superdome in the second or third round of playoffs they would lose. every team has weaknesses and struggles at times but one or two games can't be looked at to decide who wins in the playoffs. before the win at the saints everyone was talking about how the cowboys were dead but now they are picked to make in to championship. this doesn't mean anything.

for what its worth i think the saints and packers will play for the nfc championship.

The Pats beat the Cardnials by 50 in week 15 last year and I remember wondering if Arizona was the worse playoff team in the NFL's history. Then they came within a minute of winning the superbowl.

If I had to bet on an NFC it'd either be Philly or Arizona.

I wonder if the Saints will rest players next week @ Carolina. If they do they could very well lose their 3rd straight headed into the playoffs.

Cowboys may have struggled some this year, but they slugged the saints in the mouth two weeks ago and are playing well. Saints just lost to Tampa freakin Bay. Bandwagon has nothing to do with it - champions dont lose to 2-12 teams in December. The Cowboys, nor any other nfc tean right now ae intimidated by the Saints.

I say go with the hot team. The lower four teams in the nfc are playing much better than the saints and vikes. would not be surprised to see both of them lose their first games in the playoffs.

The Cardinals are 3 weeks removed from a very lethargic performance at San Fran followed by a nailbiter over Detroit. Dallas did lose 2 this month. The Eagles are definitely the hottest team at the moment, but their lack of a running game could hurt them and McNabb on the road in the playoffs is very questionable. It's definitely a toss-up as there is not really a team in the NFC that is standing out above the rest.

that no way the saints should have lost to the bucs. but before the cowboys game everyone thought the saints had one of the greates offenses ever, and now some aren't even thinking they'll get passes second round, which they may not but i'm not basing anything on one game.

isn't going with the hot team the same as jumping on their bandwagon?

Don't particularly like them, but they are solid.

I believe the Chargers will win it all. As much as I dislike Rivers, he is a great QB. If they win the 2004 draft will have produced three Super Bowl winning QBs.

Trivia question: Has any draft ever produced three Super Bowl winning QBs? (I don't know the answer, just asking)

I guess I think in terms of "bandwagon" as being a fan. I'm just being realistic. I am a huge Cowboy fan, but my gut feeling is Eagles/Packers and Colts/Chargers. They are all playing well now. Cowboys are too...IF they beat Philly this week, I think they can make the championship game at least.

Saints look like they will back into the one seed. This bears vikings game is really good. Now let's see if they can handle it.
