Texas AM is the most unpredictable team in the conference. They can beat Kentucky and Tennessee and lose to Vanderbilt and get swept by Arkansas. They lose to Louisiana State at home and beat the Tigers on the road. The Taylor and Radford combo can be just as good as anyone in the league, but can also have subpar games. Use to be Gamecock Wildens Leveque is on this Aggies team this season.
There are certainly a wildcard in that sense. Hopefully their recent losses to Vandy and Arkansas bode well for our chances tonight. Feel like we need another win to put the Auburn/LSU debacle behind us heading into 2 tough home games.
Agreed. A win tonight will dramatically lower my stress level about this team.

There is only four Gamecock players on this year's roster that experienced or witnessed that 40 plus defeat South Carolina had last year against Texas AM. Hopefully the four kids described to the the rest of the team that terrible loss. Need to come out with a vengeance tonight and deliver a blow to diminish Texas AM chances to make tournament.
A&M is best in the conference in rebounding but dead last in field goal % from the field and 3 pointers. It’s going to be an interesting game. Got to hang in there on the boards.

So excited to see Davis and CMB continue to develop under LP. A ton of talent and athleticism between those two.

It’s ridiculous. I hope officiating is a focus of SEC meetings this year. The game sucks when the whistle is blown EVERY TIME there’s the smallest bit of contact.
And once again, the referees start taking over the game. Davis got mauled under the basket no call. Touch fouls on us. Every ball off us. Tamu was in the bonus in first half with 10 to go. We got there with 2 min to go. Same thing this half.
It's one thing to commit too many fouls and another thing to get called for too many fouls.
