Bo and Blake take a deep dive into the numbers behind conference realignment in the SEC Insider Hit live in the BankPlus Studio. Bo discusses the ongoing conference realignment and what the next dominoes to fall might be as the college football world watches Notre Dame and their next move. The guys talk about how viewership numbers are pushing the decisions for realignment and which programs still in the Leftover 3 (ACC, Pac 12 and Big 12) might be attractive additions for the SEC or Big 10. Bo talks about the different ways in which the programs in the Leftover 3 can create TV value moving forward, whether that's by joining another conference or coming together in some form of partnership amongst themselves. The guys look at the Mike Leach Effect during his time at Washington State and how his presence made the Washington St viewership numbers the biggest outlier in college football.

I’m not going to listen- I don’t wanna listen to 10 minutes worth of commercials for an eight minute segment. I assume they’re talking about Andy Staples’ Athletic column. I heard Staples and Sallee talking about WSU on ESPNU radio yesterday. They attributed Wazzu’s good TV numbers over the past decade to the difficulty of watching games there in person (?) or the fact they will play on Thursdays and Fridays. Neither one brought up Leach and the Air Raid. That seems like a no brainer.
