In early June.I think they filmed the winter scenes of Doctor Zhivago in Parking Lot 80.
Can confirm January in Illinois is brutal. As bad as walking through Lot 80 was in winter, it wasn’t as bad as the first two weeks of January in Urbana, IL, when I was in graduate school. I would park in a lot three blocks from the chemistry building. That walk was brutal in early January. Below zero and windy as hell. I would wear jeans, and by the time I got to the chemistry building, it felt like I had no pants on. (Believe it or not, I did wear pants.)

6"+ on Cresson Ridge yesterday with maybe an additional inch last night.............How much snow did folks in PA get last night? We got rain in NEW. JERSEY. , but the radar showed snow throughout most of PA.
Two years. What do you think?
668 E Prospect to Walker 3 times a week my Junior year for a 9 am.neither was 522 e college ave to chambers 4 times a week
At least we had Hacky Sack and bikinis on the Hub lawn on spring days when it wasn’t snowing to balance out a winter of having to cross PL 80.Old Man Winter can suck it. The kids today have it easy. Back in my day, we had to cross Lot 80 (aka The Tundra). Which conveniently was uphill - both ways. And of course, we had no shoes.
I had to get to Walker from the ice skating rink (where I think the Pegula Ice Arena is now) my Freshman year. Man, that was a long walk…but I did pass Joe walking towards me down Curtin Road a few times. And he always said Hi. That was pretty cool.Freshman year, I had an 8 a.m. Meterology class in Walker. Quite the long walk to Walker from East Halls. If I was early enough, I’d take the Loop, but I walked there plenty.
I was walking to the library from east and he walked by me and said hello. I was in shock and couldnt say it back...I had to get to Walker from the ice skating rink (where I think the Pegula Ice Arena is now) my Freshman year. I can clearly recall him saying hi the first time and me saying it back, and then we would just nod to each other after that. I knew who he was, but it really didn’t sink in exactly how awesome that was, or what I could/should have said, until many years later.I was walking to the library from east and he walked by me and said hello. Sylvia or Sarah? One of them gave me a “rash”.I was in Stuart for two years.
