Franklin has lost the locker room. Mass exodus coming. 😞

So....he is "done with Franklin"......so....that's one....

Very nice performance from him yesterday considering the injury. Some other high profile guys might not have played in that game, but not only did he play but he was extremely disruptive. Sure fire top 10 pick

He would make one hell of an OLB in a 3-4 system if you’re getting what I am putting down?

Trade TJ and can probably get a first and a couple other pics and then slot Carter in as his replacement on a rookie contract.
The problem is, he won’t be there by the time they pick.

Possibly true. But trading TJ might get you a pic high enough to get Carter?

One can hope. TJ a proven All Pro level player. His trade return should be high.
He's entering the final year of his contract with a $30 million cap hit. Teams don't give up 5 year's worth of a rookie contract for that, especially when it would need to be a top 4-5 pick. The return wouldn't be high.

I know. The money is the bottom line here despite TJ still being at the top of his game. I hope they don’t hold onto him too long. He deserves a shot at a title, even if it isn’t with the Steelers and the Steelers need all the cap space they can get to fix the myriad of other issues.

None of the teams in the top 10 would trade that pick away for TJ. I think the only way you get a first and other draft capital for him is if he goes to a team that’s already successful and needs that one guy to put them over the top on defense.

As much as I would love to see him on the Steelers, they have many more issues besides edge rusher. They need a number one wide receiver.

I have seen mock drafts with them taking Emeka Egbuka, which am on board with.

Nah.

Carter has to go.

Right now, he's going to be a top-10 draft pick, and top-5 is not out of the question.

If he stays, he has nothing to gain because his stock is already at its peak. By returning for another year of college ball, he can only hurt himself physically, or have a not-so-good season, and risk becoming a lesser pick.
